Harmon Killibrew, maybe homerun king in 64??
He looks like a pure ox of a man for his time.
And I'm sure no enhancements either
Yep, Harmon Killebrew, played for the Twins in 64
Tommy Davis...
Harvey Haddix...
Tracy Stallard giving up Roger Maris's 61st HR??
Former KY Senator Jim Bunning.
Ernie Banks.
That one isnt hard to figure out.
Don Larsen, after he pitched perfect game, hugging Yogi.
Yep, that was the famous #8 leaping on Larson immediately after the game.
Drysdale, that one was easy.
you know if i get em they are easy haha
Thats just a great photo though with the background.
it really is, its a great picture and a pretty good representation of baseball in the older days
Not to derail this topic, but I would love to see the Braves try and trade for Michael Young if he isn't happy in Texas. He can play about anywhere, and would be a great replacement for Chipper if Chipper can't play this year, or after this year.
Love the thread here!
Go Cubs! I think they need a leadoff hitter, but oh well. Gotta root for them anyhow. :)
